Blogsite and journal of writer Beth Homicz

A Chica, as my best friend (and uber-Chica) Geralyn will tell you, is a chick with an extra dash of spice. (Italian, in her case.  Plenty of oregano and garlic for good evil-banishing measure.)  It’s a wild woman with style. A diva without the prima-donna complex. A swashbuckling sort of woman who goes out looking for cool new life-stuff to try, and wears electric-blue suede boots just for the drama of it. More on the Chica thing here.

Anyway, this blog is my place to explore and to savor life’s humor, humbug, and humanity. And to post some of my writing that hasn’t seen much of the light of day. Who said there’s no place in the world for poetry – or at least doggerel – any longer?

Please use the “Recent Posts” column at right to navigate the blog. This site is under construction for the time being, as I dredge up old writing to post, and work on new projects as well.

Hope you like what you read here, and if you do, please leave a comment to let me know! Or feel free to email me: chicabeth (at) yahoo (dot) com.
